Hallo,

“Our Friction Modifier would provide similar performance characteristics, would be suitable for the Audi rear differential if chatter were present when making a slow tight turn.”
So yes, Red Line LSD would do the job.

jacomo,
Thank you for contacting Red Line Oil, the Red Line Friction Modifier could be added to your Audi's rear differential, though wouldn't be necessary as Torsen limited slip differentials won't chatter as they don't rely on friction, it can be beneficial for friction and temperature reduction.

Hello jacomo,
The Sturaco 7098 is a limited slip additive similar to our Limited Slip Friction Modifier (type F & type G). A lot of gear oils out there already have the limited slip additives built into them, therefore you don’t need to add anything.....you can pour them in and go. We don’t build our gear oils with the limited slip already incorporated, it needs to be added in manually. Limited Slip Additives that are not built into the oil already can be produced a little differently, usually for the better. So to answer your question, our Limited Slip additives are similar to the Sturaco limited slip and they would both be ok to use in the same scenarios. I hope this helps.
Thanks!
